The small Grigne Museum is in Esino Lario. It has exhibits showing minerals from the area, middle Triassic period fossils (all found in the Esino valley and studied by Abbot Antonio Stoppani), the natural environments and climatic zones from the Lario to the Grigna and a large collection of Italian butterflies, objects, jewellery and weapons found in tombs of Celtic origin. Esino is close to the Passo del Cainallo, a starting point for many excursions in the Southern Grigna.
